Once we had put it on the market with Castles Dave was courteous and professional throughout the process of viewings and offers, and then in liaising with us about the sale as it proceeded. I can’t really speak highly enough of Castles. We had a visit from David at the start and chose Castles against 3 other agents as they were the only agent with a strategy for selling our property and they advised on a realistic selling price which we appreciated. Later in the process was when they really came into their own however; we sold a leasehold flat which was not without its challenges and I have to say that Josh in particular was really standout in his negotiations with our buyers and their solicitors – we really could not have done it without him! He also was upbeat and had great energy throughout. Anyway we had a great experience with Josh and David, just a shame they don’t have an office in Waltham Forest!

We looked hard for the right agent to sell our flat in London. Mid pandemic the market was volatile and we needed a team that could appeal to and understand the needs of our potential buyers, as well as securing a reasonable sale price that stood firm. David, Josh and Max at Castles didn’t disappoint. David was always available, reliable and honest and remained our single point of contact throughout. He had a great manner and relatability and Josh and Max were always there to help when he couldn’t. We liked Castles because they felt like a local agent who really knew the area and what was reasonable in negotiations. In just 10 days they secured us an offer 15k over the asking price, which held to the point of sale. Hackney council suffered a cyber attack in this period which made selling challenging, but they did everything they could to smooth the process over. I recently sold my flat in Clapton through Castles and highly recommend. I find the process of buying / selling pretty stressful but Castles definitely helped to make this one as informed as possible.
