Edmonton is only around 8.4 miles (13.5 km) north-northeast of Charing Cross Station and only 30 minutes from Liverpool Street Station.
Edmonton borders Tottenham to the south and Ponders End to the north. To the west are Bush Hill Park, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill and to the east, the River Lea forms the boundary with Chingford.

Is Edmonton in North London?

Edmonton is part of the Borough of Enfield in North London. It is the northernmost borough of London which gives it some unique and highly desirable characteristics. These include a semi-rural feel, with a real sense of community and a wide selection of attractions, shopping and dining on the doorstep all combined with fantastic access into Central London.

What transport links does Edmonton have?

Edmonton is served by a number of excellent transport links. It boasts easy access to the A406 as well as regular bus services along Fore Street.
The main railway station is Edmonton Green which is an overland and National Rail station served by the Lea Valley line which can get you into Central London in approximately 30 minutes.

The nearest Tube Station to Edmonton is Northumberland Park Station on the Victoria Line.

Edmonton also benefits from proximity to the Meridian Water railway station, part of the £6bn regeneration and development scheme in the area. Two platforms are in operation, with an additional two planned.

Currently the station offers a shuttle service to Stratford and additional trains to and from Hertford East and Bishops Stortford during peak travel times.
