To get to Crouch End, you can take the 41, 91 or W7 bus. The area can also be reached via an overground train from Waterloo Station or Wembley Stadium. Hornsey Station is located just 20 minutes’ walk from Crouch End.

Crouch End can be also reached via the London underground. Highgate tube station is just 24 minutes’ walk from the area. There is also Turnpike Lane, which is a 9-minute walk.

Crouch End is in Zone 3, 5 miles from Charring Cross. Travelling from the centre of London to Crouch End takes approximately one hour using public transport.

Much like any other community of North London, Crouch End has grown steadily over the last decade. As of March 2021, there were approximately 13,040 people living in Crouch End. Crouch End is located in the Borough of Haringey, which is the 18th largest Borough in London.

While there’s no Crouch End station or tube, there are a number of other transport options serving the area. Highgate tube station is only a 20-minute walk away from the centre of Crouch End. There is also Hornsey station, which is served by several trains transporting commuters from central London including Moorgate, Old Street and King’s Cross to Hornsey, which is only a 10-minute walk.

If you prefer travelling via the London Overground, Crouch Hill Station is only a 15-minute walk from the centre. There are plenty of local buses that serve the area.

Crouch End has a good selection of highly-rated schools, making it a desirable location for families with children. Some of the top primary schools in the area include Coleridge Primary School, Rokesly Infant and Nursery School. Along with St Aidan’s Voluntary Controlled Primary in neighbouring Stroud Green, other local elementary schools include Weston Park Primary School and St. Gildas’ Catholic Junior School. In terms of secondary schools, Hornsey School for Girls, Highgate School, Greig City Academy and Fortismere School are highly regarded and located nearby. There’s also Kestrel House School, an independent school for autistic children.

There are also several independent schools in the area, including North London Grammar School and Mount House School. These schools offer a range of educational opportunities and contribute to Crouch End’s reputation as a desirable location for families.
